Wardrobe Diary: Winter Garden

IMG_4664

♦ Dress: Dorothy Perkins ♦ Scarf: Desigual ♦ Tights: We Love Colors ♦ Boots: Fluevog ♦ Belt: Addition-Elle ♦ I took these slightly wobbly photos in February, I can’t even blame being drunk since it was a work night but hey at least you get to see one of my favourite outfits this winter. I was lucky that we had a very mild winter here in Toronto because it meant I did not have to pull out the down jacket more than twice. And while not looking like a burnt marshmallow is...

Rainy Day Flowers

IMG_1824

I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago when we were hit with what felt like weeks of constant rain. Turning 35 is not so bad

A new year

This first outfit is what I decided to wear on my 35th birthday kicking around Amsterdam with the man I love. Which was the perfect way to celebrate a significant milestone for me.   In the months leading up to my birthday I had begun to feel that the focus in our lives was starting to shift. And now there is no denying it, we are taking a turn in an unknown direction which is exciting but also a bit scary for me because I hate not knowing what may lie ahead. Normally I would be in a quiet...

Traveling to Amsterdam

Traveling Outfit

When we were going to Amsterdam I knew that I wanted to try and wear my comfiest outfit for the flight there. We were taking the red eye and I had grand illusions that I would sleep on the way there so that I would feel awake and refreshed to start exploring when we arrived. Instead I ended up dozing sporadically, watched movies I can never seem to recall and arrived in Amsterdam and decided to take a six hour “nap”. I was a bit disappointed in myself but the same thing happened...
