Wardrobe Diary: Winter Garden

IMG_4664

♦ Dress: Dorothy Perkins ♦ Scarf: Desigual ♦ Tights: We Love Colors ♦ Boots: Fluevog ♦ Belt: Addition-Elle ♦ I took these slightly wobbly photos in February, I can’t even blame being drunk since it was a work night but hey at least you get to see one of my favourite outfits this winter. I was lucky that we had a very mild winter here in Toronto because it meant I did not have to pull out the down jacket more than twice. And while not looking like a burnt marshmallow is...

♦ Dress: Addition-Elle ♦ Petticoat: Originals  ♦ Cardigan: Forever21 ♦ Belt: Torrid ♦ ♦ OTK Grey Socks: Sock Dreams ♦ Boots: Fluevog ♦ Earrings: Lavishy ♦ This is not what I wore today, because today I’ve been wrapped in a coral pink bathrobe eating soup and lying under a blanket with a cold.  These photos are from over a month ago but I thought I would still share them with you because I kind of have a crush on my new boots. Sean’s birthday!

IMG_1557

Last Saturday night was Sean’s birthday party and after some pre drinks and pub grub at Disgraceland, we headed for some Karaoke in a private room. Spring Wish

I had been eyeballing this dress for a while on eShakti but since they decided to stop shipping to Canada (we’ll just ignore that brief two week period where they offered it again) I thought I would try out Bongo. The service was great but it turned out to be much more expensive then I had originally anticipated in the long run. They do have a calculator/estimation tool but I really had no idea what my package dimensions and weight would be and it turns out I guessed completely wrong. So...

Working a scarf

IMG_8689

I have worn this eShakti dress in the past, but I always thought it was a little boring. I liked how the maroon in the top was echoed as a wide stripe on the bottom, but that was really the only interesting thing about the dress. That’s when I decided to try and find a scarf to spice it up a bit. It took a few months, but this last weekend, on a shopping trip with my Mom, sisters and cousin I found this gorgeous paisley scarf. It’s dominant colour is a beautiful green I like to...
