Morning

Eyelashes flutter against the pillow
Sunlight filtered through the sheer fabric
The velvet blanket discarded in the corner
Leaving only cotton sheets to caress my skin
The smell of coffee and freshly baked bread
Causing my lips to curve in a smile of delight

My toes pointing and every muscle is relaxed
