I don’t know where to start

I know that I’ve been meaning to update about my trip to NYC and also add pictures of the Living Dead Dolls but I’ve been feeling extremely tired lately and I’ve also been really busy. I’m unhappy with my website layout, and the integration of my photos gallery and when I’m unhappy with my site I just don’t want to update it at all. I have all these Daily Pictures on my hard drive that I haven’t uploaded yet and they are taunting me. I need a new look and feel. I need some inspiration.

Unfortunately all my inspiration is being poured into developing a blog for someone else. I’m having programming blocks which sucks so I may just wipe it all clean and start again from scratch. The only issue is that I need to develop this blog online and with the internet connection having a hissy fit every five minutes…you can only imagine how frustrated I’ve been.

I really should not have brought up our internet connection woes, because frankly it makes me seethe with the anger of a thousand little people trying to go on the roller coasters at Canada’s Wonderland. But I did, so you get to hear me bitch about it now.

For the last two weeks we were rarely online for more than 5 minutes at home without being dropped and then possibly reconnected again. This has been going on for weeks now. The high point was when we returned from NYC on Wednesday only to find we had no dial tone on our phone yet our internet would kick in for a minute every hour or two. Bell came in and fixed some stuff on Sunday and Sunday night we were rocking, as well as Monday. Only to find that we were down for the count again yesterday. It sucks.

And the icing on the cake that depressed me even further was I found my dream jacket only to realize that the last two sizes available are a bit too small. Of course it is the last jacket they have of that kind and the lady is trying to sell me some other old lady type jackets. After forcing me to try on two other jackets I finally snapped and said to her, “Look, I’m fat, I’m not 80. I don’t want to try on these “classy” coats that make me look like a shapeless square. I want *this* jacket. It’s cool and funky and it’s ME.” She was a bit taken aback but then took down my name and number and said to she would call me if another shipment arrives. According to their computer, this is the only store that carries the jacket in Southern Ontario so now I’m at this sales woman’s mercy. I’m half expecting her to start crank calling my cell phone, taunting me that the jacket came in and then sold out again. I hope that the commission off of the jacket, which would be a pretty penny, is enough for her to keep her promise. If not I have their card and I’ll be calling them every Friday.

Ok I’ve rambled enough. I hope all is well with everyone else. Back to work.
