Shake your eyes at me, lady!

This is a little piece of my childhood. Can you picture it? I’m 9 year’s old and my parents have agreed to buy TMN (The movie network). I would wake up at 6:00 am to sneak downstairs, turn on the cable TV and eat Honey Grahams directly out of the box. Sometimes I would really walk on the ledge by eating a powdered packet of hot chocolate mix. I would like my finger, stick it in the packet, swirl it around and then suck on it. Somehow those treats only tasted delicious when there was a danger of being caught eating them.

The point is, at this time of the morning(night) they would often air animated shorts. I did some searching on You Tube and found two of them that always stuck in my mind:
