~~HOT~~

It is hot. Sweltering, blistering hot.

How hot you might ask? So hot I had to take two showers this morning because once I did my makeup in my non air conditioned apartment I was literally dripping with sweat again. So i jumped into a cold shower and did the “fan-sway” dance. You know where you stand in front of the fan and sway to the left and right so that you can relish the three seconds it takes for the cool air to dry the water from your body? Yeah that’s the dance.

My apartment is like a brick oven and I’ve had enough. Tonight, after Kat and Steve stop by for a visit, I plan on spending the evening figuring out some way to get that stupid AC to fit into the bedroom window and stay perched. The other added bonus is that my computer is in our bedroom so I’ll be able to relish the AC while I work. Muhahaha.

Ok now I’m off to do some work in my barely air conditioned office. At least I have a cute new shirt on that is pretty much just gauze on top of a tank top.

    oh boy, do I know that dance well. And in Houston, if you could manage to get ready in the morning without sweating your makeup off, as soon as you stepped outside it was ALL OVER. I went for a month (June) without A/C in my car. Ho boy was I in a bad mood whenever I had to drive!!!
