Less than a year ago I moved, much to the chagrin of Sympatico. To make a VERY long story short, it was 30 days after the move and still no Sympatico. Having enough, I asked them to cancel my account. They then told me it took 30 days to cancel an account and I would be charged for those 30 days. Are you kidding me!? It takes 30 days to cancel something I never got in the first place???? After much negotiating (yelling) they waved the charge for the last 30 days but I still have to pay for the first 30 days I never had connection. Hope this doesn't happen to you as I am still shaking off effects of the corporate raping at the hands of Bell.
