The good, the bad and the ugly

The Good

Gary. I know I don’t talk about how amazing, talented, sweet, caring, supportive, sexy all around fantastic guy too often because I don’t want to seem like I’m gushing or cheesy. Heaven forbid I make people roll their eyes. So I’m taking this moment to say it. I love this man with all my heart and am incredibly lucky to have him in my life.

The Bad
Sympatico. They are asses. First they were charging both Gary and I to have internet access at our new apartment and they finally canceled Gary’s service yesterday. This should be fine because we were using my service. But oops…they pulled the “line card” associated with our phone number when they canceled Gary’s service so now we have no internet access. I could rant about this all day but I was firm enough (ok bitchy but you gotta be sometimes) on the phone that they promised to bypass the 6 days they told me it would take for us to get reconnected again. We should be reconnected by Thursday.

They Ugly
Me. Seconds after walking into the door into our sauna of an apartment I am not a pretty site. I frizz, melt and all around become the picture of trailer park white trash. We need to get someone to come in to install our air conditioner. Right now, I walk in, strip down to my undies and tank top and walk around the apartment with a spray bottle. I plunk two fans in front of us while we sit on the couch and spray ourselves with water and just sweat. Pandora hates the water bottles so I have to wet down a towel and wipe her down every couple of hours. She hates me when I do it but I know in her little doggy heart she loves me for even if she does growl and bear her teeth. Why do I know this? Because seconds later she is laying on the couch with us on her back, doggy legs spread open and closes her eyes as the fan dries the water on her tiny little body.

And now I’m going home to sweat, eat lasagna and be with the man I love while we play video games because of sympatico.
