A bit of an update

Happy Birthday Celeste!!
Last night I met up with Celeste and a few of her friends for a couple of birthday pints. It was fun. Celeste’s friends from school are quite sweet. In fact when at one point a couple of them were shocked that I’ll be turning 30 next month. They thought I was *maybe* 25. Awww I love how they humour the old lady 
Actually I think I remember Kat telling me she was surprised I was turning 30 as well, so maybe I do look young for my age.
Age is a funny thing. As I get older all the lines seem to just blur together. I can’t really tell the age of people any more but some people just look old even if they are my age or younger. Old and hard. Usually because they’ve done a lot of drugs, and not just smoking pot. Things like coke, a lot of E, Acid…well you get the picture. So the secret to my youthful face? Stay away from the hard stuff and use Oil of Olay daily
Today I was supposed to go to some graveyards with Stefen and his hubby Daman but I think I have a bit of a cold, and it’s rainy out. Not weather in which I want to be tramping through graveyards. The outing made me think about how I still want to get a better camera. I may buy one off of a friend, or if she decides not to sell hers, I’m hoping to get one for xmas/birthday if I can. And this reminds me about how I only have this paycheque and one more with which to buy xmas gifts. I love my new job but it means that I only get one paycheque a month, with no bonus around xmas. We get profit sharing later on, but I don’t get paid until the last day of the month. So while I’ll have money for new years, xmas is going to be tight.
Oh well, it will all work out. I think I’ll start my shopping next week. I don’t want to be doing the mad rush
And now I should get back to work on the site I need to get done. At some point I’m going to go out for some brunch and return a few movies but frankly I just want to sit in my P.J. all day.
