My so called life

I’m sitting here thinking I should go to bed but I’m waiting for my room to cool down, so instead I’m writing an entry. It’s been a while.

This past weekend was spent in Kitchener on the back porch of Rich’s dad’s place. Lovely back yard, great food, excellent conversation but god damn those mosquitoes! I have over 12 bites on my left leg between my knee and ankle. You could play connect the dots. I think pants are called for for the rest of this week. Of course it’s a heat wave but hey, it’s summer in Toronto, what else can you expect?

Anyway, Gary, Thelma, Rich and I had dinner at Rich’s family home with his dad and some of his dad’s friends. I have never had finner bbq pork chops. Then around 11:30 we headed down to the Brick Brewery in Waterloo to drink all the pints we could handle for free. A friend of Gary’s, Mark, works there and let me tell you I have a new favourite beer, Red Baron. It’s great with no aftertaste. I think we stopped drinking around 3 or 4 in the morning. Not sure. I was a good girl though, I didn’t have more than four pints so I didn’t have a hang over the next morning.

Sunday, Gary and I took the pup down to Trinity Bellwoods for a nice long run and played frisbee with her. She’s such a cute dog. I love my baby girl. We also watched Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events and I really enjoyed it. The set designs were simply fantastic. Reminded me a lot of Tim Burton.

You can’t tell but I keep stopping to scratch my leg. Damn I hate these stupid bites.

Monday I finally finished my new website layout. Love those pressed faeries ;) Now if anyone is on the Mac can you tell me if it works for you? I’ve heard that it doesn’t work for Macs on OS 9, specifically WordPress but I’m curious to see if it works on OS 10 or higher. Let me know.

And with that ladies and gents I’m going to hit the sack. My room is finally cooled down and I can sleep.
