Work…NIN…Happy

It always seems to happen this way. The day started off nice and slow, was able to catch up on various items and then suddenly *BAM* hectic day from hell! But since I’m technically on lunch and sitting at my desk I thought I would squeeze in an entry to calm my mind down just a tad.
Shall we start off with the fact that I am really excited because I am going to see NIN tonight!! Oh yeah baby. I’m almost hopping in my seat…and then I have Horrorpops tomorrow night which will be a kick ass show. Watch the stressed out girl wiggle in her chair…tickets are $2.50 per 5 minute wiggle session but I will also accept chocolate.
Still no word on the raise…I keep getting promised “we’ll talk about it tomorrow.” I did, however, get the boss to put in writing that the raise will be retroactive. Three months of whatever raise he gives me all at once, not bad. I also started working on my site last night. Just playing around trying to figure out what kind of layout I want to represent my business. For the longest time I thought I should go with something that had a corporate feel, but now I think I’m going to do something fun, something that represents me. I’m actually quite excited about it.
Gary called and he is going to meet me at work and we are going to pick up some Hosu on the way home. It’s funny, this weekend at the photography opening everyone kept asking how long we had been together and were surprised it had only been three months. Only three months, it seems like so much longer, in a good way. What can I say other then I’m deliriously happy.
Wow it has taken me three hours to finish this random entry…so I think I’ll post it and finish off my day
