Classic Basics with a Twist

♦ Top: Red Coral via Your Big Sister’s Closet ♦ Jeans: Hue via Trap Door Boutique ♦ Shoes: Miz Mooz ♦

If I like a piece of clothing I will sometimes buy it in multiples if it fits a gap in my wardrobe. Lately I have been favouring tunic tops with skinny pants and needed a black and grey tunic that was light enough for summer, but could be warmed up for winter with a long sleeve top. So when Karen ordered these lovelies in I had to have them. You can see the three collared neckline better in this top then in the black tunic top I wore a couple of weeks ago which is probably my favourite feature of this top. I realized the other day that I am becoming quite a fan of Red Coral. Not all of their stuff is my style but they have some pretty interesting pieces that I really dig. Plus they are Canadian which is an added bonus for me.

Oh and these shoes, they killed my feet but they are so lovely I am trying to figure out if I can make them more comfy somehow. If not, they will have to find a new home. If you happen to have any tips for helping a shoe that is putting too much pressure on the ball of your foot I would love to hear them.
