This year Gary and I had decided to dress up as Sugar Skulls for Halloween and I had everything I needed from the makeup aspect, but the corsets I had ordered from the Wedding Checklist ebay store never arrived. That meant I spent Saturday morning shopping my wardrobe in a bit of a panic since I refused to go out and deal with the Halloween crowds.
I ended up wearing the same dress I wore last year, but I paired it with a black petticoat, and a lace vest to switch it up. The finishing touches were an old scarf, a red rose hair pin, some crossbones earrings, lace inspired fishnets and my fluevog boots. Gary helped with most of my makeup and it took a lot longer than we expected but I think it was worth the extra time. We were really happy with our outfits.
We headed out to the Rue Morgue Halloween Party with my older sister and her boyfriend and we had a lot of fun. I took a lot of photos of our friends who had some pretty amazing costumes.
How was your Halloween? Did you do anything this weekend and do you have any plans for tomorrow night?
