Rainy Day Flowers
I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago when we were hit with what felt like weeks of constant rain. Despite the dreary day, I decided however that I wanted a pop of colour but nothing too vibrant and this jacket was just the trick. I picked this up at Forever21 last year, I think, and I love everything about it. The portrait colour, 3/4 length sleeves, the flared silhouette…well you get the picture. I am almost tempted to learn how to sew just so I can make more jackets following this one as a pattern.
I also wore the same exact outfit to the “Big, Fat Clothing Swap“. Well not exactly the same out. Just imagine the burgundy tank is a black one, and the purple boots are my black bond girls. I wanted something that would be easy to throw stuff on for quick changes without a changing room.
The swap, by the way was a lot of fun. I got to say hello to the lovely lady who runs “Curvy Canadian” and tried not to sound too much like a stalker when I let her know I read her blog. And, I even managed to pick up a few cute things. Unfortunately, I could not stay for the entire time as I had a evening wedding to attend but I am curious how the evening event went.
