Spring Wish

I had been eyeballing this dress for a while on eShakti but since they decided to stop shipping to Canada (we’ll just ignore that brief two week period where they offered it again) I thought I would try out Bongo. The service was great but it turned out to be much more expensive then I had originally anticipated in the long run. They do have a calculator/estimation tool but I really had no idea what my package dimensions and weight would be and it turns out I guessed completely wrong. So I will probably hold off on using them again unless I am desperate. I absolutely hate asking people for favours but since a lovely friend has offered to accept packages for me (yes I’m looking at you Shannon) I may just take her up on that offer next time eShakti has a dress I just can’t pass up on.
But really this dress (and a couple of others I picked up but have not worn yet) were all worth the hassle and the extra money. I do not know if I have said it before, but for the most part eShakti’s dresses have the ability to fit me perfectly. I have certainly had a few duds but I just send them back and pay attention to the cut of the ones that did not work and I just make sure not to order those cuts again. This dress, however, was a bit unique then my other dresses from them. I saw this one and immediately fell in love with the pixelated floral pattern, asymmetrical hem and black obi belt. Plus it has pockets…and I am a sucker for pockets.
I did not want to wear a necklace because I already thought I had a lot going on with the two necklines so I decided to break out my turquoise brooch. I picked this up at Lavishy and I love any opportunity I have to wear it. The cardigan has been my faithful one from Forever21 that I think I am going to retire for a bit. I want it to last a little while longer and I do not have much faith that it will survive more than a few more washings. I am pretty excited to wear this dress when it is warmer out with lighter coloured tights, no cardigan and maybe with a slimmer belt for a different look.

Thanks Ang! I may just take you up on that
I could just cry about eShakti. I find 2 amazing dresses that make me feel like I wouldn’t be a lumpy lump, AND they don’t ship here! Heck they wouldn’t even take my billing address to ship to an american address- my sister lives there. So now, I’m going to have to get creative. Sigh
Love the dress though!
@Sabrina Well I do know that if you are willing to pay the increased shipping fee you can email them and they will work to help you place your order. Or you can join a service like Bongo (https://bongous.com/) where they will set you up with a US mailing address.
